We understand the desire to lose weight, and LOSE IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
While a weight-loss personal trainer can give you to the tools to create that initial weight loss and provide short term progress, we at Opex Baltimore believe in setting you up for long term success and happiness, and that will involve a more thorough assessment and consultation process.
At Opex Baltimore, our process helps you to achieve your goals in a healthy and sustainable manner. Whether you choose personal training, or our revolutionary our On Site program, we support you every step of the way.
If personal training is your desired level of attention, here’s how it would work:
- In our first consult, we get a little background information, and talk about your goals. We can then make some recommendations for which program within SBSC would best meet your needs, and how many times per week you would require personal training with your coach.
- Next comes the assessment, anywhere from 60-120min. Here we look at your current strengths\weaknesses. We will use this initial assessment, coupled with your goals, to help craft your individual program.
- Next comes PHASE 1 Nutrition, a crash course in food! We have you do a food log, and then review the log with your coach. From there we can share with you, what in our experience, has worked well for clients with similar goals.
- Then we workout! Depending on how many times per week we have decided makes the most sense, anywhere from 2 to 5x\week you will meet with your coach. Under the coach’s watchful eye, you will execute your program, with the added bonus of having one on one attention for your entire session. On the fly tweaks – no problem, form check for all movements – done, need to complain about your neighbor’s cat – we are there:)
As with any of our programs. The secret ingredient to success is CONSISTENCY.
Yes – we know all the fancy tricks to make your workout most effective
Yes – the reps and sets and combinations we dish out can be quite challenging
BUT – they key to it all, is showing up for all of your sessions and giving your best effort.
SBSC offers personal training sessions in 2,3,4 or 5x week monthly plans. We also offer combinations of one on one training and training on your own – in or out of the gym, where we write a full weekly program for you, and only some of the workouts are done in a one on one setting (example: Monday: Workout at SBSC with your coach, Tuesday: Run outside on your own, Wednesday: rest, Thursday: Workout at SBSC with your coach…)
