Should I get a personal trainer?
At Opex Baltimore we believe that everyone is a good candidate for personal training.
Sometimes as you start on your fitness journey it is a good idea to have the individual attention that a personal trainer can provide. Our personal trainers can provide a good mix of support and challenges to facilitate your fitness journey and helping you achieve your goals.
Good candidates for personal training:
As you are coming off of a surgical procedure we can facilitate your transition back to an active lifestyle. We can work WITH your physical therapist, or take over after your physical therapist completes his work.
You are unfamiliar with physical fitness movements, using weights for fitness, stretching and mobility.
You simply would like one on one attention as you transition into your new fitness regime.
You are an athlete looking for one on one feedback for a specific problem area or something you can to improve in your training.
Personal training is useful for a variety of reasons:
While all of our programs have safety as our number one goal, having the watchful eyes of your own personal training with you, ensures the utmost protection.
Some like having a dedicated time, an Appointment, like a doctor’s visit, that they attend each week. That appointment helps keep you on track and consistently moving towards your fitness goals.
Checking each movement, rep, set, and helping with intra-workout strategies and motivation will help make your workouts the most effective they can be with the undivided attention of your personal trainer.
We know that in order to help you achieve your fitness goals we need to provide support in 3 main areas: exercise, nutrition and lifestyle. The consult with your coach is the first step in the process of getting to know you, and showing you how we can help.
